It is very important for the bike to be packed well, so it does not get damaged on its way to us.

Here are the instructions on how to pack it (basically the way it came):

  1. You will need an extra set of hands. Ask somebody to assist you (to hold the bike while you tie it down).
  2. Turn off the key switch. Remove the key and place it in a safe place (as the way you received it).
  3. Disconnect the B+ (below the controller).
  4. Put the bike on the pallet, facing the same direction (front/rear) as it came to you.
  5. Now you will have to compress the front fork (put the straps in the same location as they were, when you received the bike, around the lower triple clamp and be careful not to scratch the paint). Put one strap on each side of the fork leg and gradually compress the fork, until the front is approximately 100 mm lower. Be sure the bike is perfectly upright at the end. Now secure the ratchet handle, so it can not be undone.
  6. Now compress the rear end (ut the straps in the same location as they were, when you received the bike, and please be careful not to scratch the paint). Put one strap on each side of the swing arm leg and gradually compress the rear, until the seat is approximately 100 mm lower. Be sure the bike is perfectly upright at the end. Now secure the ratchet handle, so it can not be undone.
  7. Turn the handle bar for 90 degrees. Tighten the 2xM6 bolts on the stem, so it can not move during the transport. You can disconnect the connectors under the display if the cables are to tens.
  8. Wrap it with the foam as it came (there must be no parts exposed and no sharp edges unprotected) and that is it. Put the DO NOT STACK pyramid on top.

Once you have the bike packed, please send us a picture. And in return, we will send you the papers you need to print and put on the bike.
We'll organise the pick up.

If the bike comes back safely and in good condition (nothing has been opened, scratched, damaged or altered on the bike) the only thing that will be deducted from your payment is the shipping there and back. The amount for your bike will be fully reimbursed.


   

If you have received a damaged parcel or if the products inside are damaged in any way, please provide detailed photos depicting the damaged package and/or products and email them to: info(at)qulbix.com as soon as possible.

QULBIX WARRANTY CONDITIONS

(1) FRAME KITS

Qulbix frame kits are warranted for 24 months from original date of purchase. The cost of repairing/replacing custom paint is never included in frame warranty at any time.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This limited warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to defects, malfunctions, or failures of bike kits subjected to abuse, misuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, improper assembly, alteration modification, and accident or other improper use.
  • Any alterations to the original design shall void warranty coverage.
  • Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) explicitly exempts from coverage any damage on bikes/frames used for stunt riding, rental programs, observed trials and any similar extreme riding or events.
  • Incidental and consequential damages are also not covered.
  • All freight charges (including but not limited to import/export fees and taxes) for warranty inspection and/or service will be borne by the original owner, not including return shipment for products replaced/repaired under warranty conditions, which will be covered by Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.).
  • Warranty may be voided if regular maintenance procedures are not followed according to manual/s.
  • Warranty may be voided if assembly procedures are not followed according to manual/s.
  • Maximum load capacity of all Qulbix products: For light, moderate riding: 120kg; for hard enduro, off-road riding: 100kg.
  • Qulbix products are subject to the terms of the limited warranty. This warranty applies only to the original registered owners (customers) of Qulbix products and is not transferable.
  • This warranty applies only to Qulbix products purchased directly from Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.).

To obtain warranty service, the original registered owner must provide detailed info on the damage (dated pictures and descriptions explaining the damage and its cause) and bill of sale (invoice) directly to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.). All labour charges for warranty service are the responsibility of the customer. Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) shall repair or replace all parts that are found by Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) to be defective and are covered by the limited warranty. All freight charges for warranty service will be borne by the customer.

This is the exclusive remedy under this warranty. This is the only warranty made by Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) on its frame kits and there are no warranties which extend beyond the description herein. Any warranties that may be otherwise implied by law including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose are excluded.

(2) BIKE KITS / COMPLETE BIKES

i. Battery pack

Lithium batteries require care and some maintenance to maximise life expectancy. Abusing your battery will void your warranty. See below for details.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Warranty is void if battery is charged below 0°C (32 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Warranty is void if battery is not charged every month and/or other battery pack handling, storage, and use guidelines and recommendations from bike's manuals are not followed.
  • Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) retains the right to repair or replace battery at the sole discretion of Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.). In the event that battery is not repairable, the battery will be replaced.

For international customers (outside EU) battery warranty does not apply.

PLEASE NOTE: All Lithium batteries must be shipped in accordance with all local, state, federal, and international laws. Please note that batteries cannot be shipped via air unless all legal safety precautions are taken and regulations are followed. For more info contact your local air freight company.

ii. Frame

The Qulbix frame is warranted for 24 months from original date of purchase. The cost of repairing/replacing custom paint is never included in frame warranty at any time.

iii. Electric Motor

The electric motor is warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the electric motor to be returned to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) customer is responsible for correct removal and shipment to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.). If there is any damage caused by improper removal, the warranty is void.

iv. Electronics

The electronics components are warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the electric components to be returned to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) customer is responsible for correct removal and shipment to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.). If there is any damage caused by improper removal, the warranty is void.

v. Brakes

Brakes are warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects. Normal wear of the brake pads is not covered. Warranty claims on components are made in accordance with component manufacturers guidelines.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the components are to be returned to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.). Customer is responsible for removal and shipment to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.).

vi. Suspension

Suspension units are warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects. Normal wear of the suspension, such as oil changes and leaking seals are not covered. Warranty claims on components are made in accordance with component manufacturers guidelines.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the components are to be returned to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.). Customer is responsible for removal and shipment to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.).

vii. Crankset

The crankset is warranted for 12 months from original date of purchase to be free of defects.

Warranty claims on crankset components are made in accordance with component manufacturers guidelines.

In the event of a warranty claim requiring the components are to be returned to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.). Customer is responsible for removal and shipment to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.).

PLEASE NOTE: To obtain warranty service, the original owner must provide:

  1. Detailed info on the damage (dated pictures and descriptions explaining the damage and its cause),
  2. Serial number and
  3. Bill of sale directly to Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) via email and/or post.

(3) OTHER PRODUCTS

(4) WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To submit a warranty claim, following steps must be taken:

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  • Name and Family Name/ Firm of the bike kit’s owner
  • Full Bike Model
  • Serial Number
  • Description of the issue
  • Date of occurrence of the issue


2. Based on customer's issue description the Qulbix team will establish if the issue can be resolved at a distance (via email and/or phone);

3. If the issue cannot be resolved by the customer based on Qulbix detailed instructions, the customer will provide further info as directed by Qulbix (for example serial number of the issued part etc.);

4. Qulbix team will invite the customer to send the supposedly damaged part for inspection;

5. Qulbix team will inspect the returned part in a period of max. 4 weeks and send conclusion report back to sender via email or mail.

PLEASE NOTE:

Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) shall repair all parts that are found by Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) to be defective and covered by the limited warranty. All freight charges for warranty inspection and/or service will be borne by the customer, not including return shipment for products replaced/repaired under warranty conditions, which will be covered by Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.).

6. If the product in question (or part thereof) is found faulty in terms covered by this limited warranty, Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) will provide repaired/replacement product (or part thereof). Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) will also cover the cost of return shipping to bike kit’s owner.

7. If the product (or part thereof) in question is found faulty by reasons not covered by this limited warranty, the customer will be informed of such. If repair/replacement is possible the customer owner will be given the choice to purchase replacement parts and/or order a repair. All labour charges, replacement part costs and shipping cost (including possible import/export charges) are the responsibility of the customer.

PLEASE NOTE: All labour charges, replacement parts and/or repairs that are not covered by warranty are the responsibility of the customer.
This is the exclusive remedy under this warranty. Any and all other remedies and damages that may otherwise be applicable are excluded including, but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages or punitive damages. 

This is the only warranty made by Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) on its products and there are no warranties which extend beyond the description herein. Any warranties that may be otherwise implied by law including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose are excluded.

(5) DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Customers have 7 days after receiving the parcel to check if the received parcel/s include all ordered products and if the parts are in working condition. If a product is missing or the parcel (or products inside the parcel) are damaged in any way, the customer is obliged to provide detailed photos depicting the damaged package and/or products and email them to: This email address is being protected from spambots. After the period of 7 days, Qulbix does not except complaints on the grounds of assumingly missing parts or damaged products.

PLEASE NOTE: Damaged products may have to be returned to Qulbix. Thus, please do not use products if they (or their package) appear damaged in any way, before receiving feedback from Qulbix on the issue. Used products cannot be replaced or reimbursed on the grounds of being damaged.

PRODUCT LIABILITY

Ulbi – Qulbix's products (such as, but not limited to bike kits and frame kits) are designed for recreational and off road use only. Please consult your local authorities to find out the rules and regulations for electric vehicles. You should be at least 16 years old to purchase frame kits, bike kits, and other products sold by Qulbix. Always carefully read and meticulously follow instructions given in Qulbix Manuals (such as but not limited to Owner's Manual) and provided by Qulbix team. Regularly check for Manual updates. If you lack the mechanical skills and/or equipment/tools to assemble Qulbix products, please turn to a skilled mechanic for help and/or advice. If you are unsure of your or your chosen professional’s capability of proper assembly, we advise not to use Qulbix products. Please note that riding poorly (incorrect, incomplete or otherwise not properly) assembled bikes, can result in serious injury to yourself and others and/or property damage. Qulbix (Ulbi d.o.o.) cannot take responsibility for poorly assembled bikes. Please read other legal notes and warranty conditions at our website.

Qulbix can not take responsibility for any personal injuries or property damage allegedly resulting from products sold through any of our channels of business. Users should use their best judgement when purchasing a product.

Motorcycle/electric bicycle helmets are an essential element of e-bikes safety and must be properly fitted and adjusted. Always wear an approved safety helmet while riding to protect your head from injury in case of an accident.

TAXES AND OTHER COSTS ON QULBIX PRODUCTS

Prices in the Qulbix store:

INCLUDE VAT (IF APPLICABLE)
If you are ordering products from any EU member state VAT will be charged with your products. VAT stands for Value Added Tax, a tax on consumer spending. It applies to all EU member states customers in the amount of 22% (Slovenian VAT law (ZDDV-1)) of the good's value. If you are customer outside EU, VAT will not be charged.

DO NOT INCLUDE Import costs and/or taxes
If you are ordering from a country outside EU, you will need to pay import costs and/or other costs and fees when importing your products to your country. All import taxes, fees and other costs vary by country and are the sole responsibility of the buyer (importer) and are not included in the shipping cost of the product. For info on import charges, please contact your country's customs office.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

If you are not happy with your Qulbix product you may return it to Qulbix for a full refund* on the product's price. This must be done within 30 days of the purchase (according to Slovenia's Law on the protection of consumers’ rights, article 43.d). The product must be unused**, with no sign of assembly and in new condition with original packaging and all accessories included. Qulbix does not accept crash damaged parts or items that have been modified in any way. We do not refund any shipping costs. Customers are responsible for repackaging of the product in such a way that it is returned in perfect condition.

*PLEASE NOTE: If the original packaging has been opened and other general conditions met, we will refund 99% of product's purchase price in case of bike kits, and 95% of the product's purchase price for other products sold by Qulbix, to cover repacking and Q.C. rechecking costs.

**EXCEPTIONS: Performance e-bikes under 7-Day Qulbix Ebike Return Policy are subject to set of rules and conditions under the 7-Day Qulbix Ebike Return Policy, detailed below. General conditions do not apply for customised products. Custom made products cannot be returned for refund.

7-DAY QULBIX EBIKE RETURN POLICY

We, here at Qulbix believe that our bikes are additive. Once you'll try a Qulbix e-bike of your own, we are confident you won't give it back. But as we sell directly to end customers, which sometimes do not have the chance to test our bikes before they purchase them, we believe we should share their leap of faith. Thanks to our new 7-day try & return option you are now safe from buying something you didn't really intend to. We won’t charge for the usage of the bike, all you’ll need to cover is the transport costs.

HOW DOES IT WORK
To qualify for the 100% purchase price refund, these conditions must apply:

  • Your decision must be made within 7 days from the date that the product was marked as delivered;
  • Your bike must have less than 10 km on it;
  • The bike must be in pristine condition – any damages to the bike will be charged according to Qulbix price list;
  • You need to keep the original package;
  • You are responsible for repacking of the e-bike; don’t hesitate to contact us if you require more information about repacking.


RETURN PROCEDURE

  1. Your decision needs to be made is made within the 7 days;
  2. Let us know you wish to return the e-bike kit and request a return authorisation form via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. within those 7 days;
  3. Repackage your e-bike kit well and according to our instructions;
  4. Help us coordinate the pick-up of the bike;

You have 7 days from the date that the product was marked as delivered to request a return authorisation. If you are considering a return, please make sure to reach out to us before you re-package the e-bike kit — we have helpful suggestions if you are contemplating a return, due to performance of the item, sizing, or for any other reason.

To qualify for the 100% purchase price refund, your return request must be done within 7 days of the e-bike kit’s delivery to you. After the 7-day period expires, the product cannot be returned to Qulbix for a refund.

You must keep the original packaging and the e-bike kit must be repacked back into the original packaging when you send it back to us. This is very important, as this ensures that the e-bike kit is delivered back to the warehouse in good condition. Repacking of the e-bike kit back into the package it arrived in is the customer’s responsibility. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you require more information about repacking.

Once the return authorisation is issued, you will be able to send back your e-bike kit. Refunds will be issued back to the original method of payment within 14 business days after the date the returned product is received at the warehouse. You will only be charged for the transport costs (to you and back to us).
